ENGINEERING - Drainage Design

• Preparation of conventional foul and surface water drainage schemes for development sites, in line with WRc document Sewers for Adoption - 6th edition, as required for approval by Yorkshire Water Authority pursuant to an Agreement under Section 104 of The Water Industry Act 1991 (as amended by the Water Act 2003), including:
  • Layout drawings with appropriate construction levels, longitudinal section and detail drawings.
  • Computer simulations and hydraulic calculations using MicroDrainage WinDes software

Sustainable Drainage System (SuDS) Design.

• To meet the requirements of the Environment Agency, water, sewerage and planning authorities and Building Regulations Part H3(3) which establishes a preferred hierarchy for surface water disposal in order of priority; discharge to soakaway, infiltration system, watercourse and finally a sewer.We can arrange for soakaway percolation tests to be carried out.

We can offer these drainage design services in conjunction with our Land Surveying Service or using survey data provided by others.
