Structural Repairs to Trusteel MKII Steel Framed House, Mixenden, Halifax

Built in the 1950's these houses have performed well for nearly 60 years, but this one had problems. |
| 90% of the steel frame stanchions bases were severely corroded at their interface with the concrete ground floor slab where moisture had been retained. |

| The corroded stanchion bases were cut out and replaced with steel 'shoes'. |

Philip S Ryley & Co were called in to provide an engineered repair solution.
The work progressed and on a satisfactory completion, Philip S Ryley & Co issued a Certificate of Structural Adequacy. |
