SCHOOL PROPERTIES
New housing drives an increasing demand for extra space in local Schools.
Mezzanine floors can often provide the answer in the lofty halls of Victorian Schools but access is always a problem when all such designs must not discriminate against disabled Pupils and Teachers using the space created. It is much more difficult to find that extra usable space in modern School buildings.
We solved that problem for the Head Teacher of Bradshaw Junior & Infant School by innovative use of an internal courtyard (see photo).
